Alex Landenburg is the new AXXIS drummer.

AXXIS has got an invitation from the motorcyle club Twin Horns in Pula/Croatia. The band used their time for a short holiday.

The biggest metalfestival in the world is over.
AXXIS played 60 minutes on the partystage to celebrate with their fans, coming worldwide to watch their favorite band.

Please tell us something about you and send us a significant foto, some audiofiles with your voice and everything else that could be important for us.

Because of some scheduling conflicts with Rage & Axxis gigs anyway, Dirk played already with the band to replace Andrè for some shows. Since Andrè left the band, AXXIS wants to take their time to find somebody else.

Harry: "We got so many requests from drummers worldwide that it will take some time to organize the rehearsals for the next AXXIS drummer. We are really happy that Dirk helps us out!"

Bernhard:"Andrè is a great person and a super drummer. He would earn to reach the top-ten list of the best drummers in Germany. We will miss him."

After Timemachine and Paradise in flames, this will be the third release on Locomotive Music in the USA.

Watch out for the AXXIS headlinershows in Germany during the Hellish Rocktour. The band don't want to take a break on this tour. So they decided to play some headlinershows in Flensburg, Pirmasens & Munich.

On the 16^th November the new album of AXXIS „Doom of Destiny“, that has unleashed euphoric reactions by the press to date, will be released. Just a short while after this release AXXIS are going on tour together with HELLOWEEN and GAMMA RAY, to present their hymns live on stage through Europe.

Unfortunately vocalist Lakonia won’t accompany the band on this tour, due to privat reasons; but a top-class alternative has already been found: “On our forthcoming tour the female vocals will be sung by Ana Mladinovici, vocalist of the Rumanian band MAGICA. We are really happy to collaborate with such an amazing songstress, who perfectly understands, how the feeling of the newest AXXIS-output “Doom of Destiny” has to be performed on stage”, says Harry Oellers, keyboard player of AXXIS.

Ana adds: “I am very happy and at the same time proud that I was chosen to join the Axxis team on their tour with Helloween and Gamma Ray. I know that this will also help my band, Magica, a lot because of the promotion around this event. So all of you metalfans of Europe be prepared because Heavy Metal is coming your way, coming hard and with a touch of  "magic" :).“

The tracklist is different and only 300 pieces will be released.

"Immediately we said YES! and we organized everything (like the releasedate etc.) to let this tour happen. With Gammaray it's a perfect package for the fans...in my opinion! For us, you must consider, this is our first regular europeantour, we will do since BlackSabbath in 1989 on their Headless Cross Tour;-)!
Now we are really happy that everything works so well...and we're looking forward to present our new CD "Doom of Destiny!" said Bernhard.

The drum recordings are done and now AXXIS are directly into the vocal recordings.

Harry said: "We are really happy that Lakonia will sing with us some songs again. This time we got a lot of powerfull songs, one song from our opera "The Prometheus Brain Project" and maybe a song in German!"

Bernhard:" It's really cool that Marco, our new guitarplayer, wrote his first AXXIS song and it sounds great;-)!"

AXXIS and their Agency Bottom Row are a bit disappointed by this decision. In the beginning everything was very enthusiastic and now everything looks a bit strange:-(

Sorry for all the russion fans who expected AXXIS in their country.

Marco Wriedt will be the new AXXIS guitarplayer !

Harry:" As Marco arrived in the studio I thought Walter (first Axxis guitarplayer)is back;-)! We sent him all of our actual songs and he played everything perfectly!"

Bernhard:"This guy is 22 years old and very creative. We just let him play to our new production and it was ... awesome !"

The band did know his decision since september 2006 and wanted to say thanxx for the great time, the great productions and the wonderful gigs with him. For AXXIS it's not an easy situation but everybody accepted Guido's plan for his own future.

In Karlsruhe/Germany was the last gig with him and AXXIS presented a large cake for their long-time colleague during their private party. The goodbye was not easy ...you can see it on the pics.

Harry & Bernhard are writing 7 new songs for the this project. It deals about the Prometheus fire that stands for the culture and the progress of the human race. In this story of the famous female writer Kerstin Specht, the band wrote 7 new songs and include also 2 songs of older releases to this project.
